Post 8 : Personal Opinions

So, last post was not the last one…i came back to write about my personal opinion of any topic.
Today I want to give you my opinion about the future of the humankind, this topic makes me think a lot and has too many items on the equation. There is the biological evolution of our specie, the political/cultural/social history and development, the technological factors, the relationship between our society and the environment and many others.

The next decade will be crucial in the way that our civilization will interact with the planet, the climate change its more visible and evident, the effects are more harmful for the population, there is a imperative need of change our productions systems making it more sustainable and ecologically friendly, but to do that we need changes in our lifestyles, social organization, economical systems and technology (goodbye fossil fuels).

The idea that always comes to my mind is that we as humankind don’t have a project of the civilization that we want to be. We need to start change the way we participate in political decisions; we need to start to work for the future of the specie and not for individual interest.
It urgent to put to work all the people to the world on get back the emission rate of CO2 to the levels of 90’s decade, but I mean everybody. We need to involve all our knowledge of ecology and technology but the biggest factor is that we need to EDUCATE PEOPLE.

Post 7 : English Language Challenges

Hi bloggers, brothers and sisters, this year it's almost over so this is the last post :c
So, at the end of any process it's necessary to make an evaluation to know where we used to be and where we are now (and how continue our study of the language)

The first question that I have to answer is how did I like the subject (English of course)
To me was very useful the way it’s articulated the classes, I think that has the right balance between the written part, the spoken part and the listening exercises. The golden rule (just speak English!!!) makes me to start to think in English many things of the diary life.

The use of blog it’s very important, the exercise of sitting in a chair and start to write post and say something that it’s more than words or sentences give you a good training in the use of connectors and syntax.

My plan it's keep practicing my pronunciation and the right use of the verbal times, to improve my pronunciation I have to keep speaking and hearing English content and for the right conjugation I need to start to study more.

Outside of the English class I’m in constant contact with the language. Every day I watch a lot videos in English (with no subtitles obviously), from academic stuff (science) to entertainment content.

This is the last line, was a very good trip (a little bit short to me), I learn a lot and miss Lourdes deserve a lot of the credit for given us the knowledge and have patience for our need to speak to much (with very bad pronunciation).

Bye.

Post 4: Types of plants

Today I’m want talk you about Plants!!!

We all love plants (if not, you should!), they support our life by adding air and remove carbon dioxide of the atmosphere, they are the lungs of the planet. Our lifestyle depends on natural resources exploitation and of the most important item its plants giving us food, medicine, shelter, etc.

One of the plants that I want to talk you its Hemp, a variety of Cannabis Sativa that has many industrial uses, it’s been used as fiber source since 8000 BC and its possibly one of the first plants to be cultivated. In the past was used to make rope of many ships, pulp for paper and cloth and in the present it’s used for food, fiber, building material, plastic, paper, water and soil purification and biofuels.

The industrial uses of Hemp was weaken by a lot of misinformation, Hemp it’s a variety of cannabis that have very low concentration of THC (the psychoactive component that makes you feel high) and high concentrations of CBD ( one of the many cannabinoids presents in hemp plants with a lot of medicinal potential) so it’s a really helpful plant for the humanity, we should think about give a boost to cannabis industry.

(And yes, I cultivate some cannabis strains, my favorite it’s Moby Dick)

Post 3: Music

i really love music….period.

Now talking serious, I really love/hear/need a lot of music, it’s an energy that my body and mind need to wake up, stay awake and sometimes necessary to sleep. When I was kid I listen all the kind of genres that my parents show me and as I was growing up I start to handle more genres, today I’m a person that could listen from the most brutal Black Metal passing by Rock, Reggae, Jazz, Rap, Folk, Punk, even Classical music.

Yes, when I put my phone on random playback my friends think I’m schizophrenic.

I love so much music that I learn to play some instruments, I start with electric guitar and now I’m practicing keyboard.

Right now my favorite “singer” (actually its rapper (it’s more about the poetry that the vocal technic)) it’s a guy from Valladolid, Spain (Or Valladolor how he says) named Erik Urano (yeah, from another planet). He make some kind of Space Rap…it’s a very industrial Rap where he spit his poetry in a very particular way. I think that the work that he is doing is going to be study in the future the same way we study the work of J.S. Bach today.

Post 1 : A country I'd like to visit

A few years ago i start to hear some Belgium rappers. Everybody loves french...so I get into the Belgic rap scene. The first thing that I see in Romeo Elvis videos was the Atomium Building, a 100 meter height cube of atoms. So, with that presentation of the capital Brussels I start to make plains, in a possible travel to Europe I got to know at least a few places, so I start to travel in Google Maps and notice that Amsterdam and Brussels are separate by 200 km and a train trip. My two favorite places of Europe are neighbor. The activities that I want to develop in those places are some kind of musical tourism and professional development. Get in touch with the people and they lifestyle is the kind of thing that I love in a trip, so by the simple fact of eat some typical food, hear their music and appreciate their architecture practicing my English and social skills seems very attractive to me.
